Mikaela Shiffrin will not be at the start this weekend of the two Super-Gs scheduled this weekend in St Moritz. The American skier is training and focusing on Giant Slalom and slalom and will be in Courchevel to compete in the two Giants.

Since she hasn’t skied speed since January, Mikaela Shiffrin is currently training and focusing on giant slalom and slalom for the foreseeable future.

Due to travel restrictions associated with COVID-19, opportunities for training speed this summer were non-existent for Americans, so the little time Mikaela had (especially with her back injury) on snow was focused on giant slalom and slalom.

Mikaela Shiffrin will be in Courchevel for the two Giant Slaloms planned on 12th and 13th december
